How would you get started using Claude/MCPs to consolidate information scattered across tools like email, Slack, and Notion to see where things stand with a client, without altering any data?

This is described as a good use case for MCPs: connect all the relevant MCPs (email, Slack, Notion, etc.) into Claude, then build a "skill" — a repeatable function Claude remembers and reuses, similar to how one person created a skill for writing cold outbound emails in a preferred format. As an example of the pattern: weekly signup data was pushed into Claude, which was told to check email for prior contact with each person and produce a status report (e.g., whether they were on trial, churned, or still active) formatted as an HTML dashboard. The same approach could be applied to connect Slack and a client name list so Claude can search across sources and report where each client relationship currently stands based on the last communication.
