Why use QuickBooks Online bank connections instead of Plaid for pulling client bank data?

The main reason was concern about connecting bank accounts to Plaid as a third-party user — some banks (the example given was Chase) require the actual account login credentials to connect through Plaid, but allow third-party connection through QuickBooks instead. Since the firm was already fully set up with QuickBooks connections, that was the more practical and secure path for them.
